BABE GETS GRAMMY NOD

Vocalist/guitar/Irish bodhran (drum) player with the Babes since 1994,
Debi Smith has received a 2007 Grammy Award nomination for her latest CD The Soprano, under the category Best Pop Vocal Album. The nomination is the latest addition to Debi's already packed trophy shelf which includes seven Washington Area Music Awards (Wammies), three children's albums that won Parent's Choice and American Library Awards, and several ASCAP composer awards. Congratulations Debi, and good luck!
