LO COR DE LA PLANA SIGNS WITH SRO FOR EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATION

SRO Artists, Inc. has announced an exclusive new relationship with Troisquatre to develop touring of Occitan vocal ensemble LO COR DE LA PLANA within the North American Performing Arts and Festival markets.

Heralded by the New York Times as "the most striking group" at the 2008 GlobalFest in New York City, Lo Còr de la Plana (pronounce “Loo cooar day la plan”) is a male ensemble from the quarter of La Plaine in Marseille. Six singers accompanied by hand percussions (bendirs and tamburello), "picaments" of their feet and "bataments" of their hands.

The ensemble has toured extensively in throughout France, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Belgium, with performance highlights including WOMEX (Sevilla), Festival Stimmen-Voix-Voices (Germany), and Haïfa (Israël).
