 Upon the release of his latest CD, Rhythm and Bows, Randy Sabien has assembled a new band featuring three violins. Inspired by the Western swing music of Bob Wills, Sabien plugs the concept of multiple fiddles into be-bop, blues-rock, and beyond. Fueled by a four-piece rhythm section, the music pays homage to the history of American roots string playing while stretching beyond contemporary conventions. Showcase selections include “Spadella,” “Money from a Stranger,” “Infra Rae,” and “Cliffs of Dover.”

 With sophisticated humor, these richly gifted musician-comediennes see life through their own wacky viewfinders, offering two estrogen-fueled hilarious shows: Hormonal Imbalance…A Mood Swinging Musical Revue and its sequel, Diva Nation…Where Music, Laughter, and Girlfriends Reign. These best-friend gal-pals, playing funky guitars, a classical piano, and a rocking pink-heart-shaped bass, let loose in “to die for” four-part heavenly harmony, creating an “elegant” evening of whimsical and hip music and laughs!
