This unprecedented collaboration between three cultural visionaries (DAVID KRAKAUER, FRED WESLEY, and SOCALLED), fuses the seemingly desparate elements of Klezmer, Funk, and Hip-Hop into a suprisingly danceable groove!

28-Jun-2010 — The Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra premiered its new show "A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald" in Washington, DC during the annual Jazz Appreciation Month in April 2010. And in April 2011, they'll take the show on tour to the US Southwest. The full big band led by award-winning jazz master Dr. David Baker will feature very special guest vocalist Kim Nazarian of the New York Voices!
