 Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra plays Holiday classics!
Dec. 1, 2008 -- The jazz orchestra in residence at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History will perform The Nutcracker and Peer Gynt, Arranged by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhornon Saturday December 13, 2008 in Washington, D.C. This special holiday program repertoire from the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra is now available to tour for the Holiday 2009 season, and only through SRO. Read on

 DSO turns it up to eleven!
Nov. 11, 2008 -- The elevens come together at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, NH, where 11/11/08 marks the 11th Anniversary of Dark Star Orchestra. The anniversary show, as well as the Black Tie-Dye Ball (Nokia Theater in New York City on 11/29/08) are part of 2008 Rex Caravan Tour, an annual effort by DSO aimed at raising funds for the Rex Foundation, the Grateful Dead's official charitable organization.
