Jun 28, 2010 -- The Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra premiered its new show "A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald" in Washington, DC during the annual Jazz Appreciation Month in April 2010. And in April 2011, they'll take the show on tour to the US Southwest. The full big band led by award-winning jazz master Dr. David Baker will feature very special guest vocalist Kim Nazarian of the New York Voices!

2010/11 RINGS IN SILVER CELEBRATIONS
April 15, 2010 -- The 2010/11 season celebrates some very special anniversaries at SRO, including two of our esteemed International attractions reaching their Silver Anniversary... The Peking Acrobats® mark their 25th North American Tour in Winter/Spring 2011 with guests the Women's Peace Orchestra of China, and many new surprises. Also celebrating 25 years of touring is Ballet Folklorico "Quetzalli" Mexico's traditional dance/music troupe renowned for high-energy shows, multiple costume changes, and stellar bi-lingual outreach.
